Sushi Hanamaru is a modern Japanese kaiten sushi restaurant located in Clayfield, on Brisbane’s northside. We serve freshly prepared sushi, sashimi, rolls, aburi (flame-seared) sushi and a wide range of hot Japanese favourites, all available for dine-in, takeaway and online ordering.

Our restaurant is built for everyone in our local community — families looking for a casual weeknight dinner, friends catching up over a shared plate, regulars who have visited us for years, and first-time guests curious to try Japanese food in a relaxed, welcoming setting. The kaiten sushi runs throughout the day, giving diners a fun, visual way to choose their meal, while our kitchen prepares hot dishes, donburi and desserts fresh to order.

Sushi Hanamaru is built and run by the same local team and chef who have served the Clayfield community for more than 13 years. In 2026 we stepped into a fresh, independent chapter under our own name — same people, same experience, same passion for quality, now proudly our own brand. Everything we do is guided by three simple values: fresh ingredients prepared throughout the day, consistent quality built from years of experience, and warm Japanese hospitality (omotenashi) in a comfortable local environment.
